Вимкнувши світло, він продовжив бесіду з самим собою. Звісно, світло –
це теж важливо, але має бути чисто й приємно. Музика не потрібна.
Безсумнівно, вона не потрібна. Не те що б стояння перед барною стійкою
можна було б назвати гідною справою, але о цій годині нікуди і не підеш.
Чого він боявся? То був не острах і не жах. То було ніщо – так знайоме
йому ніщо. Усе було нічим, як і сам чоловік. Потрібно було лише світло,
чистота й порядок. Деякі жили і ніколи не відчували цього, але він знав,
що все це – ніщо і ще раз ніщо , ніщо і ще раз ніщо. Наше ніщо, нехай святиться ніщо твоє, нехай прийде ніщо твоє, нехай буде ніщо твоє, як і ніщо і в ніщо. Ніщо наше дай нам сьогодні, і ніщо нам ніщо, як і ми ніщо
нашим ніщо, і ніщо нас у ніщо, але визволи нас нас від ніщо; і ще раз
ніщо. Ніщо з нічого, радуйся, ніщо з тобою. Він посміхнувся і став перед
